Also, this shanty is performed before marriage or any such big occasion at home. In this shanty Lord Ganesh is worshiped followed to which a vessel full of water is worship with mantras from Yajurveda.
This Shanti is also performed to gain purification especially when someone is passed away from the family. Along with purification it also results in gaining Health, physical and mental strength.
