About this puja
Monday is considered very auspicious for the worship of Lord Shiva, it is said that Lord Shiva showers special mercy to devotees on this day which results in reducing materialistic problems of devotees & fulfilling their wishes.
This Vrat consist of fast on Monday, Puja of Lord Shiva and reading of “Sola Somvar Vrat Katha”. After fasting & puja of 16 Mondays in order, this vrat is completed.
In married life, one comes across many problems to reduce its impact and to get desired life partner are 2 common benefits of this Vrat. Ideally it is good to start this Vrat from first Monday of Shravan month, or alternatively, it can be started from Monday of any month.
