Rudrabhishek (Ekadash Awartans) is performed by 11 Rudra Awartans. In Hindu religion idol of God is first purified by milk or butter and then worshiped. Rudrabhishek is considered to be one of the most important vidhi in the devotion of Lord Shiva. ‘Shiv-ling’ is worshiped by water shells and special Vedic mantra named “Rudra-Sukta”
Abhishek is considered as a special form of worship which consist of Cow milk, Butter, curd, honey, sugar, water, sugarcane juice, rice and coconut water and all other things that Lord Shiva likes. Rudrabhishek results in conquering sorrow and fear.
