Laxmi Pujan is a Hindu festival and celebrated during Vikram Savant in Hindu calendar. It is considered the most important celebration of the Diwali festival. As per holy scriptures, Laxmi is known as the wife of Lord Vishnu and goddess of prosperity.
To welcome Devi Laxmi devotees clean their house, decorate it and offer a lot of food and sweets as a gift to the Devi. The entire family comes together on this day of Diwali and offers their devotion, gifts to Devi Laxmi to receive her special blessings like Health, Wealth & prosperity.
