About this puja
Sarvapitri Amavasya is considered important during Pitru-Paksha, in case someone could not perform shraddha of their respective ancestor's such people can consider this day auspicious for their rituals and offerings to the ancestors. Anyone who don’t know Tithi or date of their accentors can perform puja on this day.
As per the Hindu religion, anyone who does Pind daan behind their ancestors is blessed with long life, prosperity, and happiness. With blessings of Pitru, one can be liberated from birth and death and can achieve Moksha.
